Duties & Customs Fees

For buyers outside the European Union (EU):

You, as the customer, are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from snusio.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Sweden may be subject to excise taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the local country and/or jurisdiction. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such excise taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country and/or your delivery address. It is the customer’s responsibility to report and remit these taxes. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Where can we deliver in the US?

Until further notice, we will no longer be selling and shipping to the following states:

  • Georgia
  • Massachusetts
  • Vermont
  • Washington, D.C.
    + these U.S territories
  • Micronesia
  • Guam
  • Puerto Rico

Within the following states, we cannot ship to specific counties:

  • California (all products): San Francisco County
  • Colorado (all products): Aspen, Carbondale, Edgewater, Glenwood Springs, Golden, Snowmass Village
  • Illinois (all products): Cook County, River Forest, Skokie
  • Maine (all products): Bangor, Bar Harbor, Brunswick, Portland, South Portland
  • Minnesota (all products): Arden Hills, Bloomington, Brown's Valley, Edina, Golden Valley, Mendota Heights, Moorhead, Richfield, Traverse County, Wheaton (Lush only): New Hope, Nobles County, Robbinsdale, St. Louis Park
  • North Dakota (Lush only): Cando, Linton
  • Ohio (all products): Grandview Heights, Bexley (Lush only): Columbus, Toledo
  • Oregon (all products): Multnomah County

If the customer refuses to pay customs/taxes and the shipment is returned to SNUSIO, a return handling fee of 40 EUR / 45 USD plus any additional shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.


Where can we deliver in the US?

Until further notice, we do not ship to the following states:
Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Vermont, Washington D.C.
And these U.S. territories: Micronesia, Guam, Puerto Rico.

In addition, we cannot ship to certain counties in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, and Oregon. (See full restrictions on product page.)


Unclaimed Packages

If your package is delivered to a pick-up point (via UPS) and is not collected within the carrier’s holding period (usually 7 days), it will be automatically returned to SNUSIO.

  • A handling fee of 40 EUR / 45 USD will be charged to cover administration, shipping, return shipping, and handling costs.
  • This fee will be deducted directly from your refund (if eligible).
  • Please note: Unclaimed packages are not considered an exercise of the right of withdrawal.
